Kishorn IV54 8XA
My studio is on the shores of Loch Kishorn in the village of Achintraid. Before the second world war it was the Boatshed for Sea Pink, the treasured yacht of a local landowner. After the war life changed, and the Boatshed was redundant. For a period of time it became a home for a family, living virtually on the beach, and I remember their daughter sitting on the rocks calling to the seals. (obligingly they came..sometimes!)
Now I am lucky enough to have this precious space, where I paint and exhibit my paintings. I enjoy sharing the Boatshed and am happy to meet any interested person there, but please contact me first as I may be on the hill painting! I am open from Easter to the end of September.

I am a founder member of the South West Ross Arts and Eats Trail. Pick up a leaflet and enjoy visiting all the local artists.
The Boatshed is virtually on the North Coast 500 route ( NC 500). Leave Lochcarron on the A896 for Kishorn. Turn left in the village, signed Achintraid, and proceed for under a mile following the loch. My studio the Boatshed is on the shore, on the right hand side.
